Well, really, the final fight would probably be: Balenciaga City v. PS1. Both bags have, despite the passage of time, retain their classic design, though its colours and materials are constantly being re-worked.

Well, I am in Team PS1. Infact, I do not quite fancy the Balenciaga City; it is over-copied and the vulgar hardware of the Giant City (see: below) freaks me out a little. (okay, I bet my life that Jim, the ardent Balenciaga fan that he is, is hoppin' mad right now)

My personal favourites?

Isn't the pale blue so demure?

I don't think you can ever ever ever go wrong with the combination of python and white.

This unpretentious colour which matches most day-to-day outfit is practical yet chic.

This stunning croc leather satchel will set you back by 14.5k USD (croc leather aside, I have to say I hate this blah colour; this dreary beige is what makes a dead croc)

I sigh. I do not have a PS1 nor any designer bag, really; what is a poor student to do? But a girl can dream, right?
